The Queens of Chambal: ALTBalaji announces yet another interesting tale of women with artsy poster

Content czarina Ekta Kapoor celebrates her birthday today. As she turns a year old, Kapoor has given her followers and audience a massive gift. The return gift is a show that is close to Kapoor's heart, and she is ready to present it to the world. TV doyenne and now an OTT Queen, Ekta Kapoor, is set to bring 'The Queens of Chambal', an interesting tale of women from the heartlands of Chambal. A show with two female protagonists set in the backdrop of Chambal sounds like something we all have been waiting for.     

Ekta Kapoor herself dropped the poster on her Instagram while announcing the big-ticket project. Touted to be the next big series on the digital space, The Queens of Chambal seems to be an action drama laced with power and emotions, and it will stream on ALTBalaji. The poster, a graphical illustration, gives us a glimpse of what the show will be about. Two strong-headed women rule and lead the otherwise patriarchal gangdom of Chambal. In the poster, we see the two women, supposedly gal pals, sitting on a pile of dead bodies with their rifles in position and having a laugh. Not that we enjoy blood bath, but we will not deny that we do enjoy badass women on screen.
