The passion for success is inherent in me: Mahesh Shetty

Charming actor Mahesh Shetty who enthralls the audience on Kalash - Ek Vishwas comes across as a strict disciplinarian but talk to him and he is approachable and very jovial in nature.

Indulging into a light hearted conversation with the hot and charming personality of television, he shed some light on how the acting bug bit him!

Mahesh said, "Acting came to me as an experiment. But yes, the passion for success is definitely inherent in me. The two seemed to collide perfectly well in my case and that explains why I'm still here. The journey has been a roller coaster ride and I love every bit of the thrill."

Speaking about what interest him most about essaying Saket, he averred, "Each character comes with its own set of challenges and Saket has his share as well. Kalash is a very interesting show because it is linked to the mythological world and today's DNA age. I get to unfold a new layer of my character in almost every episode. I love the fact that Saket is an illogical and outright negative but at the same time he has his reasons to be and do what he does."

Mahesh claimed that post his stint in Bade Achche Lagte Hai he was interested in donning something very different, something which would surprise him. 

The vivacious Mahesh elaborated, "I was basically looking at doing a character which was unlike Sid from Bade Achche Lagte Hai and am quite fortunate to have found Saket. Sid was a spoilt womaniser who was scared of his elder brother while Saket is fearless and powerful. He loves Devika to no end. I love to experiment and give each character its own individual standing. I love having the freedom to explore. "

For those who want to know more about the handsome man's hobbies, Mahesh is a complete foodie and a biker at heart. He loves to read, go trekking during monsoons, explore different destinations and experiment with the local cuisines. 

After all, variety is the spice of life... Isn't it?
