Today, 23rd April, happens to be World Book Day, and so Telly Buzz caught up with TV actors to find out about their favorite books and especially ones that have touched their heart and changed their lives.

Ssharad Malhotraa:

I like the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. It has a lot of depth. It gives an insight into life through the lives of penguins.

Shashank Vyas

My favorite books are You Can Win and The Power Of Subconscious Mind. I started reading when I was struggling for work. It helped me grow as a person. I feel that reading also broadens our mind and helps us to look at things from a different perspective.

Sehban Azim:

I loved reading Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, not for the story in it but for the inspirational value towards life that's weaved around it.

Sourabh Raaj Jain

Alchemist is my all time favorite. It's all about chasing your dream. It helped me by strengthening my belief in my dreams. Whenever I get time I try to catch up on reading.

Laksh Lalwani

I like the book The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. The genre of this book is adventure, dystopian and science fiction. I am a very adventurous person and I love exploring new things, which is why I loved reading this book.

Ayaz Ahmed:

I love 40 rules of Love by Elif Shafaq. I was always very inclined towards Sufism. I was always looking for answers to the questions I had about love and life. I was looking for a purpose beyond family obligations, patriotism, and religion. I wanted to understand the true meaning of our existence and had a lot deeper, dark questions. This book brought me closer to Sufism, which is a non-fundamentalist, spiritual and more liberal way to look at Islam. The book also inspired me and still motivates me to write poems about love and life. This book turned me into a poet, a philosopher and has been able to bring out the best in me so far.

Kajol Srivastav

The Secret is a book that changed my life. I follow it today also and I have read all the three books in the series. It has improved my way of talking, thinking and living. The confidence and positivity are all because of the books that I have read.

I loved every moment of reading this, it would be beneficial to have this available on more publishing websites like Shabd.in. It offers the opportunity to publish in various local languages in India, catering to a diverse readership. Considering its wide reach and the ability to showcase content in different languages, it could help reach more readers and expand the book's audience.
