Taapsee has the most Humble response on being Compared to Sridevi!

Taapsee Pannu has garnered a lot of attention for her performances so far and the actress has been soaring great heights for the same. Her upcoming film Thappad has offered her a high pedestal as the critics can’t stop praising her. Meanwhile, Taapsee’s film is yet to receive the judgment from the audience.   

Taapsee recently won the Best Actress Female Critics at the Filmfare Awards and was compared to late legendary actress Sridevi. At a recent event, director Anubhav Sinha asked the actress if she would like to be compared to Sridevi.

To which Taapsee instantly took a back-step and said that she is very scared of that kind of responsibility of being Sridevi or Madhuri. Let her only be Taapsee.

She further said that let her only be Taapsee and she doesn’t want to be measured by a man’s success. She requested to let her feel that she deserves her success without comparing her to the men.

She also stepping into the shoes of a former Indian cricketer Mithali Raj and said that “I will do my job, I will give my 110% to it. Rest is up to you people. Will you receive it the way you received Dhoni - The Untold Story? Let’s see.”

Taapsee's soaring success has finally milled her a lot of attention, but while Thappad is yet to release, the 32-year-old actress is already preparing for her next.
