Sushant's sister Shweta gets emotional as Chhichore wins National Award: I wish you were here...

The winners of the National Film Awards 2019 were announced on Monday owing to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020. Interestingly, Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore went on to receive an award in the Best Hindi Film category. The recent announcement saw priceless reactions from all across the nation and his co-stars like Varun Sharma and others to director Nitesh Tiwari, everyone remembered Sushant Singh Rajput on the occasion. 

Now, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti penned an emotional note on social media. 

"'Chhichhore' wins National Film Award.” Bhai, I know you are watching, but I wish you were there to receive the award. Not a single day passes when I don’t feel proud of you. #ChhichhoreBagsNationalAward #SushantOurHero," Shweta Singh Kriti wrote in a Tweet.

Recently, SSR’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared pictures of the benches built in Australia, in memory of the later actor. A signboard at one such bench describes him as 'keen astronomer, environmentalist and humanitarian'.
