Sushant’s family lawyer lands in Mumbai for a case filed by his sisters to quash Rhea's FIR

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer landed in Mumbai on Wednesday evening in regards to a case filed by his sisters to quash Rhea Chakraborty’s FIR. The complaint was lodged for the forgery of a medical prescription against Priyanka Singh and Meetu Singh. 

Rhea had also named a doctor from Ram Manohar Lohia hospital from Delhi in the same FIR. The Mumbai Police took cognizance of Rhea’s allegation as she filed the FIR with the help of her lawyer Satish Maneshinde.

Meanwhile, in response, the late actor’s sister filed a case at the court to quash Rhea’s FIR against them while calling the allegations false.

For the uninitiated, In September, Rhea Chakraborty had filed an FIR against Priyanka Singh and a Delhi-based doctor Dr Tarun Kumar for illegally prescribing medicines containing psychotropic substances without consultation for late Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea alleged that the medicines may have resulted in a chronic anxiety attack leading to Sushant's suicide. 

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his Mumbai apartment. Though the Mumbai police, based on the autopsy, called it a suicide. The wild speculations followed by the pool of rumors and allegations on social media from SSR’s family raised doubts that became a part of an overall CBI investigation.
