Many hours after he and his team were mistreated by a few men, Sonu Nigam was seen at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday morning. When questioned by the media how he was doing, Sonu only replied, "all okay," and gave a few flying kisses before leaving Mumbai. He was walking to the airport gate to catch his flight with an old man by his side.

On Tuesday, a paparazzi posted a video of Sonu Nigam at the airport. He was sporting track trousers and a sweatshirt in camouflage. He avoided discussing the event and responded to all of the paparazzi's inquiries with "everything okay."

One of his bodyguards and Rabbani were allegedly pushed late on Monday night as they exited the stage at a concert in Chembur, and Rabbani was apparently thrown down the stairs. He was reportedly coerced into taking selfies. Despite the fact that no arrests have been made in the case, one of them has been charged. One of the accused is believed to be the son of a local MLA.

After the event, Sonu complained to the Chembur police station, which led the police to initiate a probe. Upon the filing of the case, he stated to the media, “After the concert, I was coming down from stage when a man held me. Then he pushed Hari & Rabbani who came to save me. Then I fell on steps. Rabbani could have died today if there were some iron rods lying down. He was pushed in such a way... you could see in the video...Even I was about to fall.”

After the complaint, the police registered a case under IPC sections 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
