Sonam Kapoor's Twitter FEUD with Mumbai Police!

Yesterday actress Sonam Kapoor shared a video of Dulquer Salmaan using a mobile phone while driving. Soon after, the Mumbai Police slammed the actors for being irresponsible citizens of the country and trying stunts while driving. Later, Salmaan took to Twitter to answer back the Mumbai police.

It all started with Sonam Kapoor sharing a video on social media where Dulquer Salmaan is seen driving while Sonam is seated next to him. In the video, we can see Dulquer Salmaan recording something while driving and this caught the ire of the Mumbai Police. Without wasting any time, the Mumbai Police, took a dig at Sonam and Dulquer as they wrote on Twitter, "We agree with you @sonamakapoor ! Quite a 'weirdo' to try such stunts while driving and putting the lives of fellow drivers at risk too! We don't quite approve of these even in 'reel' life. #NotDone."

Thereafter, like a good friend and co-star, Sonam immediately came to Salmaan's rescue and as she replied to Mumbai Police. She wrote, "We weren't driving we were rigged on a truck.. but I'm glad you guys are concerned.. I hope and I know you show the same interest in regular folk as well! Thanks for taking care! #Reelvsreal @dulQuer." And if you thought that the Twitter banter was over, we had Dulquer Salmaan clarifying the air and reinstating that they weren't breaking any rules. Dulquer wrote, "Would appreciate it if you had checked some facts before tweeting this. In fact, @MumbaiPolice helped us with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were present the whole time. In my next tweet attaching the video, I was shooting. #notawierdo." Mumbai Police, later, appreciated that the actor did not violate any traffic rules.
