Recently, BJP MLA Ram Kadam shocked everyone when he posted a condolence message for Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre on his social media account recently.

His post read: "Popular Bollywood and Marathi diva, who has been entertaining with her performances, which were highly appreciated by her fans is no more. Sonali Bendre passed away in America."

However, soon after finding out that it's a mere death hoax, he immediately retracted his tweet and posted an apology message that read: "About Sonali Bendre ji It was rumour . Since last two days .. I pray to God for her good health & speedy recovery."

Sonali's husband and producer Goldie Behl has now reacted to all the death hoax news making rounds about his dear wifey and has urged everyone to "use social media responsibly".

He took to his Twitter account to clarify the news and request everyone. His tweet reads: "I appeal to all to please use social media more responsibly. Let us not believe in rumours and spread them, unnecessarily hurting the sentiments of those involved. Thank you."

Currently, Sonali is undergoing treatment for Cancer in New York. In a moving post, a few days back, she has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer. Her friends from the industry have been constantly in touch with her and a few of them, including her close friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi, have been paying her regular visit in New York.
