Singapore - Bangkok Diaries!

Karan Mehra who is seen in Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai says - I have been to Bangkok many a times for the shoot of ads. Recently we went to Bangkok , Pataya for the shoot with Ye Rishta... team and it was a good a experience altogether. It was a change for us because we always shoot on the sets in Mumbai. We had tough times as it was very hot while shooting outdoors. We went for shopping, did under water swimming, enjoyed boat rides and  adventurous things. We had fun and used to enjoy a lot. I used to shoot during day time and later during the night time me and Nisha used to go out to have fun.

Arjun Bijlani who was last seen in SAB TV's Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar says - I have been to Bangkok, it's an amazing place. It is a great place for women to shop and it is meant for bars for men. From Bangkok you can travel to Pataya their you have beautiful beaches. One should prefer to go to Bangkok during winters because during summers it is very hot there. I visited Bangkok to do a travel show with Deepti Bhatanagar as she is my relative.

Deven Bhojani who was last seen in Zee TV's Bh Se Bhade says - Yes our Baa Bahu Aur Baby team went to Singapore and we had a great time. Actually we had a tie up with Singapore tourism company . They were really happy with the way we promoted their tourism and so we were treated like a king there. We went  to Sentosa Island , mall ,sea aquarium, lagoon rides, amusement park and many other places. We had a hectic schedule of shoot, but in the evening when we used to get free time we used to roam around and used to go for shopping. Once we went to casino. I remember one incident, it is regarding the shoot where we all were seeing the Dolphin show and the dolphin was playing tricks. So from the crowd they call Gattu to feed the dolphin and Gattu was told to close his eyes. As I closed my eyes the Dolphin kissed my cheeks. So overall it was a great experience and a stress buster.

J D Majethia producer cum actor says - We went to Singapore with Baa Bahu Aur Baby crew  and Star Plus asked us to shoot in Singapore. The Singapore tourism company wanted a family based program which can shoot in Singapore and Baa Bahu Aur Baby was a family based program. We had a great time there and the tourism company was really happy with our  performance, it actually helped them to promote their Tourism company all over the world. They got a brand integrative award. They called me to shoot again in Singapore for Khichadi (movie) but we denied because it was not possible to shoot a movie. The story and episode was made accordingly, a family goes to visit Singapore as their travel destination. The shooting schedule was hectic because we were shooting outdoor and indoor.

Singapore is meant for family, you can have a nice family time there. As Europe is meant for teenagers, Singapore is a family friendly place. It always rains there so you need to carry an umbrella always. It is a crime free city, it is not like India. People there are very humble and polite. We went to many places and now I don't even remember where all we roamed and yeah it is reasonable."

Anas Rashid who is seen in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum says - We went to Singapore when we were shooting for a cooking competition. We had a great time there. People there are very honest, humble, straightforward. We were treated very nicely there. They didn't do any kind of discrimination with us. We were treated like a family member. It's a very liberal and crime free place. I saw night life of Singapore it's amazing. We even went to the disc and when we went there they were frisking me from head to toe, they asked me we have seen you somewhere, are you from Bollywood industry? I said no I am from Hollywood (Laughs). Then they asked me about my Babasa that who is he ? Is he your grandfather? I used to tell them no he is my father. We went to many places like Mustaffa market, Sentosa Island, I remember there you have this Singapore flyer. We did shoot in that flyer it gives you ride of 45 minutes. The atmosphere and climate there was very pleasant and it is pollution free environment. Sometimes I used to feel that the distance between sky and earth is less as compared to Mumbai. Waha par Aasman muje neeche lagta tha. Singapore is famous for sea food we faced few problems due to that. We are habitual to Indian spicy food and their taste is totally different. I went for shopping there and shopped for perfumes, many chocolates, jeans, watches and many other things.
