Simple Kaul in Maniben.com

The actress is essaying a grey shade with some comic elements in it...

The vivacious and bubbly actress, Simple Kaul is all set for her second innings on SAB TV with Smriti Irani and Contiloe's Maniben.com. She was last seen in Jugni Chali Jalandhar on the same channel.

"Yes I'm doing the show and have a really nice and funny kind of character", says Simple.

Elaborating on her character she states, "All I can say is that it is a grey shade and has some spice in it. I will start shoot for the same by end of this month".

When asked Simple about the reports of the show being shelved, she says, "As far as I know the show should go on air from the first or second week of June. As regards the timings, I just know that it's a prime time slot".

Why only comedy for Simple? "The reason is that I like comedy and it's easier and better than those normal daily soaps. I am really looking forward for the show to start. However, I am also open for other genre shows", she quips

Maniben.com is the tale of a simple Gujarati couple who migrate from their village to Mumbai's posh place Pali Hill. Soon Jaman Patel (Nitin Vakharia) begins to find Mani (Smriti Iraani) very inferior compared to his affluent neighbors, as she can't even speak English. However, Mani makes an attempt to learn English and engages in fashion designing.

Mani even takes part in the Mrs.World Contest but her husband isn't supportive of her career and threatens to divorce her if she goes for this contest.

Get ready to watch Simple as she makes the junta laugh with her humor on SAB TV.
