Shraddha Kapoor to start shooting for Naagin after wrapping up her film alongside Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has been absent from the big screen for a long while, but in 2020, the Half Girlfriend actress confirmed that she has been cast in 'Naagin,' which she would begin filming after finishing Luv Ranjan's next film, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor.

According to a news outlet article, the film would use heavy VFX in line with the subject's roots in traditional Indian mythology. According to reports, work on the visual effects modelling will begin next month.

The reports further mentioned that Naagin is a massive project that would require a lot of visual effects. As a result, the filmmakers will begin VFX modelling in June. 

Other pre-production work has already begun, such as casting supporting actors and finding suitable locations. After finishing her work on Luv Ranjan's unnamed next starring Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha will begin filming for the film.

The Baaghi actress had previously stated that she was excited to portray an ichhadaari naagin who can alter her shape at will after growing up watching, appreciating, and idolising Sridevi's 'Nagina' and 'Nigahen'.

Meanwhile, the Ek Tha Villan actress has‘Chaalbaaz In London’ in her kitty. According to reports, the makers, who announced the movie in April 2021, have currently put it on hold and are planning to visit it at a later stage.
