Shraddha Kapoor on feeling bad for not being the first choice for Street Dancer 3D

Shraddha Kapoor is an actress par excellence and she has proved her mettle time and again. With Stree, she shot to new heights of success and now with back to back hits, there is no stopping for this girl. These days she is prepping for Street Dancer 3D and is beyond thrilled to be a part of Remo D'souza's movie. 

For choosing it, she however had to opt out of Saina Nehwal biopic, which now Parineeti Chopra is doing. Talking about Street Dancer 3D and how she was not the first choice for it, Shraddha shared her views with Pinkvilla. 

Earlier Katrina Kaif was approached for her role and later she was replaced by Shraddha. Narrating if she felt bad, Shraddha said,"No, not at all. Ultimately I feel like there are so many reasons. Like I couldn't do Saina (Saina Nehwal's biopic) for whatever reasons and these things happen. Eventually, I think it is what your happy with. I was super thrilled that I came on board for Street Dancer 3. I love to dance. It's one of my most favourite things in the world. So I was super excited to get back on Street Dancer and be with my old gang -- my ABCD 2 gang. Characterisation is super different and very very exciting. So, I was only happy about it. And for whatever reason am in the film, I've had a great time. Am very happy."

Street Dancer 3D was offered to her when she was prepping for Nehwal biopic. As she couldn't refuse working on a Remo film, she agreed to be a part of it and opted out of the biopic. Shraddha was also seen in ABCD 2 along side Varun Dhawan and gathered a lot of praise for her performance.
