Shehnaaz Gill: Every artist should be treated equally and I had to prove that with my work

Working in the entertainment industry is never devoid of struggles, however, it is upon the actors and artists to change the perception that anyone has about their work. And recently, Shehnaaz Gill got talking about the struggles she has faced and how she believes that every artist should be treated equally and the fact that Bigg Boss 13 only changed things for her.

While talking to Bollywood Bubble, Shehnaaz went on to reveal how people told her that she is a 'second lead actress' and she is a model. She said that people don't value them but according to her, there is no such thing as a first or second lead and that every artist must be treated equally and she had to prove that with her work as she has had bad experiences. She also mentioned how Bigg Boss gave her that opportunity and she received a lot of love from the fans and she wishes to maintain it.

Shehnaaz is gearing up for her Punjabi film release, titled Honsla Rakh. It will co-star Diljit Dosanjh along with Sonam Bajwa and will release on October 15.

Meanwhile, Shehnaaz is also going to be seen in the unfinished music video with late actor Sidharth Shukla, now titled Adhura. The song is being called a 'SidNaaz' songs and ever since the announcement, fans have been waiting to see the duo as well as the actor, on the screens once again.
