Shantanu Maheshwari tests positive for COVID-19 after initially testing negative

The second wave of Coronavirus has taken a toll on the country and while everyone has been trying to stay hopeful and taking necessary precautions, there has been an increased number of cases. This year, many celebrities have tested positive for COVID-19, including the likes of Arjit Taneja, producers, cast and crew members, among others. And now, actor and dancer Shantanu Maheshwari has tested positive for the virus. He took to social media to inform the same.

He wrote: Hi guys, just wanted to inform you all that I was unwell a few days ago and initially tested negative, but after the second round of testing I have been detected positive. I am under home quarantine, taking all necessary precautions, and hoping to recover soon. A sincere request to everybody to be mindful in these trying testing times and prioritize your health and don't step out if not needed.

Shantanu recently completed 10 years in the industry and he spoke about his journey and how he has had to work very hard to make his way up here. He has been seen in a few web projects and was also the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi his season. He made waves with his stint as Swayam in Dil Dosti Dance and continues to receive a lot of love for D3.
