We received a rude shocked earlier this year as Bollywood's legendary actress Sridevi had lost her life due to accidental drowning at a hotel tub in Dubai on 24th February. Not only the industry insiders, but the entire nation was mourning the loss of the superstar.
The last time we saw her on big screens was the smashing movie 'Mom' but it will not be marked as her last film. Sridevi has a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'Zero' along with few other notable actresses and that technically will be called her last film.
As Shah Rukh Khan is busy promoting 'Zero', in an interview with Zoom the actor expressed about her presence in the film. Asked if her presence would be a tribute to the actress, SRK got a bit emotional and said, "The sequence you are talking about is not a long sequence. It's not an item...her presence. It's wrong to even say that it is a privilege to have her in the film, because her loss is so great. I hope wherever she is, she makes the world happy with what's she has done".
Reminiscing about his time with Sridevi, the actor added, "I kind of started my career when I did Army with her (not exactly true, though!), and then, she is no more. I have a little scene with her. So it is heartening that way. Though having said that, I wish that she hadn't passed away. None of us wishes that".
"I was just thinking that If we had a trial for the film, she would have been one of the first persons I would have called", he added.
Apart from Sridevi's cameo, the sequence will also include Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Karishma Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt's cameo.
