Seema Sajdeh recalls nasty comments & divorce stigma after separation from Sohail Khan

Last year, Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh concluded their 24-year marriage, a significant chapter in their lives. The couple, parents to two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan, made the decision to part ways after being separated for several years. Recently, Seema Sajdeh candidly discussed her divorce with Sohail and the societal stigma associated with divorce.

In a conversation with Shivani Pau on her podcast, Seema addressed the prevalent stigma surrounding divorce, particularly in Indian culture. She acknowledged saying of course there is. Especially in our Indian culture, there's always a stigma attached to divorce. 

She also shared her personal experience, revealing how some individuals made derogatory remarks, suggesting that she had utilized her association with Sohail Khan and his family to further her own ambitions.

In her own words, Seema recounted the judgmental comments she encountered, saying, "We’re living in the day and age of social media, so I had people comment, 'Oh, she used him and that family for as long as she needed to. She got where she wanted to get. Now she wants to be free.' I was like, 'What just happened here?' But there were also people who were really nice to me, so I chose to focus on that. There were loads of people who were genuinely nice to me, and I'm so grateful for that."

Interestingly, even though Seema and Sohail had been living separate lives for an extended period, some continued to assume their marriage was still intact. 

While "The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives" Season 3 has yet to receive an official release date from Netflix, it is expected to follow the release pattern of its predecessors, premiering between September and December of 2024.
