Samridhi Shukla reacts on 'Dharampatnii' taking 'Saavi Ki Savaari's slot & her show going off-air

Samridhi Shukla has been winning hearts with her stint in Colors TV's show Saavi Ki Savaari. The actress essays the character of an auto driver in the show and her portrayal of the same has won her a lot opf appreciation. 

Well, with Colors TV's show 'Dharampatnii' receiving a 6 month extension, rumours of the show replacing Saavi Ki Savaari and the show going off air were at an all time high. There were assumptions about Dharampatnii being alloted the slot of Saavi Ki Savaari too. India Forums reached out to Samridhi who essays the character of Saavi in the show to talk about the same. To this, the actress said, ''I think there was a rumour of the show going off air, but that was just a rumour and there is nothing that is official about it. Also, about Dharampatnii taking our slot, I don't think as an actor I have anything to say about this because we are here to act. We are not here to comment on what slot will be given. I mean, this is not in our hands. what show comes at what time, how long will the show run, who will be the cast members, which is going to be the production house. We're here to work and act, and I am only and only concerned about that. Even for that matter, TRPs are not something that an actor should worry about because these are things that are beyond our control. So anything that is beyond our control should not worry us. If you are good, then good work will come to you and the word of mouth is strong. And you know if you do good, you'll get good. So that's about it. I don't think about all these things, but I don't know. Let's see what happens.''

Further, we asked the actress her reaction on Dharampatnii being given the slot of Saavi Ki Savaari and does she think it is fair to their show. Reacting to this Samridhi said, ''There has been a slot change since we were at 6:30 PM and now we are at six. But again I will say the same thing, that this is beyond our control as an actor, not something that I should or anyone should worry about. Of course any kind of change as a human too is difficult and it takes a little time to adjust to the same, but I think our audience base is too strong and we're still going strong. In fact, I think we're going stronger because seeing the kind of response we're getting because of the lovely track we're coming up with, there's a lot happening and I think the audience has in fact grown. It is wonderful. It's a good good amount of people supporting and cheering for us and I think those are the people that we are making the show for and that's the appreciation. We should look out for a time slot change. I don't know what will happen, but I think time will tell.''
