Sai Ketan Rao is a very dedicated actor; Shivangi Khedkar is sweet: Shweta Vyas of ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali'

Star Plus show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali’ is getting a lot of attention and love from the viewers. The current track of the show revolves around Raghav’s ex-girlfriend Isha entering his life. Raghav feels that his life will be affected with Isha’s entry. Meanwhile, Isha is distraught learning about Raghav moving on in his life and getting married to Pallavi.

Amidst the drama in Raghav, Pallavi and Isha’s lives, India Forums got in touch with actress Shweta and asked her about being a part of such a popular show. The actress said, “I was very impressed with the character briefing. Isha has so many layers and I was quite intrigued to know more about her and perform the character and hence I instantly gave a nod to the offer. I was aware of the show but couldn’t get the time to catch up with it. However, my family and friends follow the show closely. They were elated to know about me bagging the show”.

Talking about her thoughts on Sai Ketan Rao aka Raghav Rao, Shweta said, “Sai is a very dedicated actor. He is always too much into the character. But when the director says ‘cut’, he gets back to being his nice gentleman personality”.

Speaking about Shivangi, Shweta said, “Shivangi is a very sorted and a humble person. Both Sai and Shivangi are terrific actors and I’m glad to be working with such great artists”.

Whenever a third angle in an already established story is introduced, the actor has to face the brunt of it in terms of trolls and hatred from the fans. We asked Shweta if she’s game for it. The actress said, “I’m well aware of it and I’m sure people will start trolling and sending me hate comments in the future, some of it has already started. It’s a part and parcel of any show. I really want the viewers to tune in to our show as there are quite interesting episodes and twists lined up for them”.
