Rubina Dilaik: Love from the LGBTQ community on my first day back on Shakti made me feel truly special

Rubina Dilaik has been known for her role as Soumya in Shakti...Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki for over 4 years and while she quit the show last year, she returned with a bang and has been receiving a lot of love yet again. The show talks about the LGBTQ community and also raises a voice against how they are constantly looked down upon and stopped from having a regular life.

While fans were upset when she quit the show, she did return post her Bigg Boss 14 win and seems to be receiving double the amount of love with her return. And as she returned to the show once again, she was also welcomed with a huge celebration as the LGBTQ community took a cake for her and they celebrated the day warmly, making it all the more special.

Talking about the same, Rubina told The Times of India, "This sweet and special celebration by key members of the #LGBTQ community associated with our show along with a bunch of others in their circle was an extremely heartwarming gesture planned by them. They were aware of me coming back to the show and were in fact happiest upon hearing the news. One of them even told me that they were sure 'ki mein hi wapas aane wali hoon aur sab kuch acha chalne wala hai', which truly touched my heart. Their association's president even came by to felicitate and welcome me with a lovely gift and mini cake cutting celebration which was an absolute honour. To see the immense faith and trust they have in me, and the unconditional love that was given to me by the #LGBTQ community on my first day back on Shakti made me feel truly special."
