RRR at Oscars: Deepika Padukone presents; audiences give 'Naatu Naatu' performance a standing ovation

Whether or not, 'Naatu Naatu' will win the Oscar is something we have to wait and see but it can safely be said the impact of the same is more than ever already.

When it was confirmed that the song will be performed at the Academy Award Ceremony, it was already in the news for how this banger of a song will be performed by the singers and dancers.

The moment arrived and it was everything you would expect it to be. Firstly, we had the fabulous and glamourous Indian superstar, Deepika Padukone coming in as a solo presenter to introduce everyone to the song and the epic film, RRR.

She looked ethereal as one would have expected-

Then came in the moment where singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj rolled with their microphones and began singing the song as an array of performers danced their hearts out.

Granted that the performers couldn't match the sheer madness and energy as Ram Charan and NTR Jr. did in the original song but it was enough to leave everyone spelbound-

It was a moment of absolute bliss and heart pounding with pride as the biggest names in the audience went on to give a standing ovation to the performers.
