Bollywood Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is quite active on social media, has reacted to a troll who was offended by his tweet about festive sweets and weight loss.

On Thursday, the actor took to Twitter and shared a quirky post that featured the prices of Indian sweets and how much it would cost to shed off those extra calories.

To which a Twitter user trolled the Baaghi 3 actor for being biased on Hindu festivals.

It featured the cost of sweets like laddu, jalebi, kaju barfi and chocolate. Along with this, Riteish wrote the huge price that one will have to pay to lose weight. He added, “choose wisely’ and shared the post with the caption, “I thought I should warn you !!!!”

Soon after he shared the post on his handle, a user commented,

“@Riteishd Tum logo ka gyaan keval Sanatani parvo par hota hai kya? Eid , merry Christmas ya new year pe toh muh mai dahi jama lete ho!

To this, the ‘Ek Villain’ actor replied,

“Sorry sir - Mai Vegan hu dahi nahi khata“ (sorry sir I am vegan I don't eat curd)

Meanwhile, Riteish is currently busy shooting for Kookie Gulati’s next film ‘Visfot’. The film also stars Fardeen Khan. It is the official remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' which was selected as that country's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards. The thriller thrives on the collision between the city's stark contrasts - the 'chawls' of Dongri and the high-rises.

Riteish recently shared a picture from the sets and updated that he has started shooting for the film.

He was last seen on the big screen in a supporting role in Baaghi 3, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. The box office run of the film was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
