Indian Fashion designer, Wendell Rodricks recently passed away in Goa at the age of 59. The designer wrote a few books and was also known for his contribution to social causes, environment, and LGBT rights. He was also awarded the Padma Shri in 2014. Condolences from the fashion and entertainment industry started pouring in as soon as the news broke out.

Wendell Rodricks had also campaigned relentlessly over the past months to save some ancient mango trees from being cut down to widen a highway. He was also working on his life’s dream project, the Moda Goa Museum.
