Ranbir Kapoor and his niece Samara Kapoor went viral after she cutely posed with the superstar at the birthday bash of Jeh Ali Khan. Later, Samara also gave poses for the paps at the airport much to the amusement of her mother Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Now, in an interview her parents Bharat Sahni and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have said that they are not very comfortable with the idea of her using social media. She is a teen now and they wish to protect her from the trolling that is rampant on the medium. 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni said that she has told her daughter that there will be nasty comments and she should ignore them. But she said that it was not easy to tell a teen to grow a thick skin. She said she would like it if Samara opened an account when she grew older, and she would want her daughter to delete her page. Her father Bharat Sahni said that it is inevitable that they as parents would at times scroll down to read the comments. They said they do monitor Samara’s activities on social media. 

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni who is a part of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives season 3 said that her mother Neetu Kapoor is quite strict with Samara. However, her mother-in-law is quite chilled out. It seems Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were naughty as kids, and Samara has inherited their traits. Ranbir Kapoor had earlier said that he was very close to Samara as she was growing up. It seems she calls her RK as it has “nice ring” to it.
