Rajinikanth Wishes Speedy Recovery For SP Balasubrahmanyam Battling With COVID-19: Video

Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam tested positive for COVID-19 with 'mild' symptoms and was admitted at MGM Healthcare in a critical condition. Soon music composers like A.R. Rahman and Anirudh Ravichander along with his well-wishers poured in their good wishes for the singer.

The good news is that the legendary singer is in a better condition and superstar Rajinikanth has shared a special video message for Balasubrahmanyam. Wishing for his speedy recovery, the Robot actor said, "SP Balasubrahmanyam has sung in most Indian languages for more than 50 years. He has been infected with corona. I am happy that he is out of danger now." Rajinikanth concluded the message by saying, "I pray to god and wish for his speedy recovery."

Meanwhile, Balasubrahmanyam continues to be on life support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the MGM Healthcare as he is undergoing treatment for coronavirus, the hospital said on August 15.

SPB's son Charan Sripathi Panditharadhyula gave an update via his Facebook page. He is heard saying, "My dad was shifted from the third floor ICU to an exclusive ICU room on the sixth floor. The shifting took some time, and they had to set him up. The pleasant news is there is some mobility. Dad is moving around a little bit. He showed the thumbs-up sign to the doctors. He is able to recognise the doctors. He is still on life support. He is breathing a little more comfortably than a few days back. Doctors see it as a very good sign. He is on the road towards getting better."
