Rahil Azam to strike the comic chords...

The thriller track seems to be rocking the TRP charts for Ratna Sinha’s Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na. The Teesri Manzil Ka Raaz had Rahil Azam playing a split personality wherein, during the day he was Swayam and during the night the courtesan, Payal. Now, interestingly the show has taken a new twist. Telly Buzz gives you details.

Thanks to Shubh and Aastha’s assistance and help, the duo is able to bring Swayam back to normal. With this new track, Rahil Azam will be seen essaying his role with a touch of comedy and of course will be seen in a totally new look. To those uninitiated, Rahil Azam is one hell of a comedian and does not miss an opportunity to kid around with his co-stars. In fact, while doing his earlier show, Resham Dankh, Rahil was always found joking and laughing on the sets. Talking about this new shade to his character, Rahil says, “My character earlier was shown suffering from a split personality disorder. Now that I am fine, the audience will get to see my character in a lighter shade.”

Although Rahil is a jokester, the actor is usually seen playing very stoic and emotional characters. This is the first time he is trying his hand at comedy, so how is the experience playing such a role? The actor replies, “As an actor, I have to play different characters in my career. It truly was a wonderful experience. I am a very jovial person and love to crack jokes. I can be serious as well as humorous, so it was not very difficult for me to essay this role.”

Well, Rahil rocked the screen with his split personality. Now it waits to be seen how he does with the touch of comedy to his character.
