After Kalki 2898 AD, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2 is going to be the biggest pan-India film. It is supposed to be a solo release for the occasion of Independence Day 2024. The few glimpses of Pushpa 2 have stirred the curiosity of the masses. Now, reports are coming that the film might be postponed a bit. Two days back, reports came that editor Antony Ruben had quit the project due to date issues. It seems Naveen Nooli could step in for the final edit of the mass entertainer. 

Reports are coming that Pushpa 2 makers are worried about apparent lack of available dates from Fahadh Faasil. This has been reported by Telugu 360. The Malayalam star who is on a golden run at the box office still has 15 days left of shoot. A huge set resembling Malaysia has been set up at the Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad. While Fahadh Faasil quickly winds up other projects for Pushpa 2, filmmaker Sukumar is finishing other pending portions. 

Pushpa: The Rise had a viral song in Oo Antava that featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu with Allu Arjun. The makers are planning to have one such special song in Pushpa 2. But they are yet to finalise on the leading actress for the same.

Despite these reports, the makers have stated that Pushpa 2 is well on course to be the big pan-India Independence Day release.
