#PromoReview: Parth and Erica are sure to take you back in time with a fresh setting!

Well, we think there's a lot of hopes riding on this one.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, starring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes as Anurag and Prerna respectively is all set to go on-air on the 25th of September and the fans for now, have been waiting for the promo of the show.

Last morning, Ekta Kapoor promised the promo starring Erica and Parth today afternoon, and well, she did deliver it too.

What is it about?

Shah Rukh Khan beautifully narrate their journey of going through the obstacles in their lives, and also describes how the two are completely opposite, but when their path will cross, it will be nothing short of a celebration.

In glimpses, we see the kind of chemistry and the turn of events that we'll see happen during the course of the show's run.

The Good:

The promo looks aesthetically pleasing, and given the setting of the show is in Kolkata, a shift from the regular settings on a daily soap feels great.

Right from the laal dupatta to the scenes at the platform, and Erica aka Prerna standing by the Howrah bridge, the direction couldn't have been better.

SRK as the narrator is a treat for the fans, and the passion and ease with which he narrates a love story that is so complicated, we've got to admit that there's something that will want the audiences to watch the show now, if they didn't want to already.

We think Parth and Erica will make for a great pair, and while they are sure to have the pressure of having to match up to the original actors, we know that they've got a charm of their own, and the viewers are sure to like it too.

Though we were hoping for a promo that was longer, despite being short, it did manage to live up to quite the expectations.

The Bad:

Honestly, it is rather difficult to point out the bad in here, because it's just about perfect, the only complaint we have is if we could have been offered more to what the story beholds this time around.

Verdict:

Kasautii Zindagii Kay is sure to live up to the expectations of the audiences, and while there will be a new cast and new twists to the story, the very basis continues to be the same, which is why it is sure to attract both, the viewers of the original show and the fans of the current lot.

parth looks weird in that yellow kurta..god after seeing him an the iconic manik malhotra this is such a let down..i hope he will be given a much better look in the show..KZK is such a trash show to reboot..i am sure ekta had better old shows in her kitty to bring back..
all the best to parth though..not happy with his choice but he is talented and sincere..i hope he gets what he is seeking by signing this show..will be difficult for me to watch after watching something like kyy and MaNan chemistry but i am sure parth will do a good job
PS: read a comment saying he is nothing compared to cezzane..you should see parth in KYY as Manik..he was brilliant..and cezzane was hardly known for his acting skills..kuch bhi!

Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes.. Love you both. You two are my favourites but the storyline wont keep you together thats sad. Hope Ekta does change the story... dont want my favourites marry and divorce and remarry and re re marry ...I am dead against extramarital affairs

Hope this serial is not about same thing which we can see in almost all ekta's family serials about divorce and remarriage either to same person or different person.
