Prateik Babbar tattoos his mother Smita Patil's name on his chest: See Pic

Actor Prateik Babbar is the son of late Smita Patil and Raj Babbar. He lost his mother when she was 31 years old and often shared posts about how much he misses her. 

Prateik had the most special tribute to his late mother Smita Patil. What better way to immortalise her memory than a tattoo! In a heartwarming gesture, the actor got his mother’s name inked on his chest.

He took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of his new tattoo with all his followers. The tattoo has her name along with her birth year 1955 to infinity. Sharing the picture, Prateik wrote: "inked my mother’s name on my heart."

While speaking about his tattoo to ETimes, Prateik Babbar said: 

"I always wanted my mother’s name tattooed. I have been indecisive about it for years. The moment finally felt right. She’s inked exactly where she’s supposed to be, on my heart. 1955 signifies the year she was born & now with me till infinity.”

Last year, on the occasion of Simita Patil's 34th death anniversary, Prateik had penned a heartfelt note calling his late mother a perfect role model.
