Prabhas in & as 'The Raja Saab': The superstar returns to commercial masala genre as poster is revealed

For the many millions and millions out there, Actor 'Rebel Star' Prabhas is known and has made an impact owing to the Baahubali franchise and the PAN-India stardom it propelled along with global recognition as well. But the actor's ardent fans have been loving and following him since the days of his career when his films screamed being massy and commercial potboilers.

And it seems that after experimenting with action, mythology, futuristic fiction, fantasy and even dystopia, the actor is all set to return to his 'massy roots' for his upcoming project. Prabhas unites with director Maruthi, who is known to present big-scale commercial masala films for the film titled, 'The Raja Saab.' And just like the title sounds, the expectation for the first look was also to be colourful and enable whistles and hoots.

The first look of the same was recently revealed and it totally fulfils the huge expectations and exhibits all of that. Prabhas posted the same as he captioned, "Presenting #TheRajaSaab's First Look in this festive season. With confetti, fireworks and bright colours, we can see Prabhas smiling broadly while flaunting his lungi and seemingly ready to break into a dance.

Talking about Prabhas' recent track record, the actor has had a mostly miss record where apart from Saaho's respectable collection post the Baahubali phenomenon. The likes of Radhe Shyam and Adipurush did not make any impact at the box office and on the critics as well but the year 2023 ended on a high note as Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire achieved huge box office success. Apart from The Raja Saab, Prabhas also has Kalki 2898 AD and also has an appearance in the fantasy drama film, Kannappa.
