Post Bharat, Salman Khan & Sonakshi Sinha to kickstart Mumbai schedule of Dabangg 3

Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow. Post Bharat, Salman Khan is all geared up to start shooting for Dabangg 3 and we can't keep calm! 

The first schedule of the film was shot in Maheshwar and now the team is ready to start shooting for the next schedule in Mumbai from June 15, 2019. The third edition will feature more of a family drama as compared to the first two editions- Dabangg and Dabangg 2. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the set designers have erected a balcony facing a lake at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai.

Besides Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles, the film also stars Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep, who plays the antagonist in the film. Sudeep has already shot a climax action scene opposite Salman Khan. 

According to a report in DNA, Salman Khan will feature in the recreation of Malaika Arora's 'Munni Badnaam Hui' from Dabangg. “The lyrics will undergo a drastic change too. And Salman has decided to wear the overcoat of this Badnami himself and the song will be called 'Munna Badnaam Hua'”, as quoted. Also, there are speculations that ‘Naagin’ actress Mouni Roy will feature in the item song alongside Khan. 

Directed by Prabhudeva, Dabangg 3 is slated to hit the screens on December 20, 2019. The film was previously expected to clash with Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra but now its release is pushed to 2020.

Besides Dabangg 3, Salman Khan has a list of movies lined up for this year. He will soon kickstart the shoot for Inshallah followed by Kick 2.
