Palak Tiwari explains why she hid her face on being spotted with Ibrahim Ali Khan

Shweta Tiwari's daughter Palak Tiwari, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan were photographed together outside a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, in January of this year. Their presence together sparked rumours that they were the newest pair in B-Town. 

While Ibrahim smiled at the photographers, Palak tried to hide her face from the cameras as they left in the same automobile. Now, the Bijlee Bijlee star has revealed why she was hiding her face after being caught with Ibrahim.

Palak stated that she was trying to cover her face because of her mother, Shweta Tiwari. In a recent interview with RJ and broadcaster Siddharth Kannan, Palak claims that her mother uses paparazzi images to keep track of her.  

Palak said,

"That night, I had told her one hour back that I have left for home. I was in Bandra. I was like 'mummy there's so much traffic. I am on my way home and she was like 'fine.''

She further said,

"Then these pictures come out. And the second the paps came I was like 'my mom will see me,' and the second she sent me that picture and said 'you liar.' I am like I'm sorry.' I had hidden my face from Shweta Tiwari, not anyone else."

Also, further addressing the dating rumours, Palak said that she and Ibrahim are 'nice friends.' She added that they were with a group of people and weren't alone. Palak also described Ibrahim as a ‘very sweet guy.' 

On the work front, she will be making her acting debut with the horror-thriller film, Rosie: The Saffron Chapter.
