Omi to wed Bittan; Mathur to die in Yeh Pyaar?

The story track in COLORS' Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam is proceeding towards the wedding of Bittan (Parul Gulati) and Omi (Chandan Anand).

The present track revolves around the recovery of Brij Bhushan Mathur (Tushar Dalvi) after being operated upon. Once he gets back home, Omi will take the help of Lehar's (Yami Gautam) chacha to seek Bittan's hand.

A little birdie tells us, "The chacha and Bittan will eventually convince Mridula (Shweta Gautam) and Mathur for Bittan's marriage with Omi. Bittan will argue that it was Omi who helped them when they were in need of money, and it is her responsibility now to agree for marriage. The story track will now proceed towards their wedding, which will be a rather small scale affair as the Mathurs are not able to give their whole-hearted consent to the wedding. However, Lehar will try her best to stop this marriage from happening, but to no avail".

If sources are to be believed, there will be a major twist coming soon after the wedding of Bittan and Omi in the form of Mathur's death.

When contacted, Tushar Dalvi who plays the role of Mathur told us, "This is news to me that Mathur will be dying. I had earlier told the creative team that as an actor, I would like to contribute in the small way I can to the progress of the show. However, my role did not grow and I had very less to do. I have not shot for them for the past 4-5 days. If this news is true, then the actor in me will be pretty satisfied to move on and look for another show".

Recently, there was a strong buzz of Parul Gulati being replaced in the show. However, the ultimate decision was in favour of Parul, and she was retained to play the more mature version of Bittan.

The wedding of Omi and Bittan will be aired this week…
