Star Plus' latest offering, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge was one of the most talked about shows before it went on-air.

However, it seems the same has not transpired into numbers as the show's ratings have not been encouraging since it went on-air.

And according to reports, this has led to the makers taking the drastic step of firing Malika Dua, Zakir Khan and Hussain Dalal as mentors.

Yes! That's right. The mentor trio has been fired and Bollywood funnymen, Sajid Khan and Shreyas Talpade have been roped in to be their replacements.

The popularity of Zakir and Malika on the internet is no secret, but it seems none of that has transpired into the show's favour.

With Sajid and Shreyas coming in, the show may just get the boost it needs.

The mentors were boring. Good decision. They should change the set too. Make it more bigger

It is a boring show with below average contestants - almost yawn-worthy. Why blame the judges or mentors? Didn't even remember to watch this weekend!

Instead of firing the mentors they could have auditioned better contestants - they are just mediocre, none of the them was funny to be in a laughter challenge.

I think these three have not faced enough interactive audience and met stars before. The way interact with Akshay and rest of the people looks very normal and no X-factor in it.

it's not about mentor... it's about comedian...
i had watched few episodes and sorry but i didnt like those comedian... they are not as funny... work on them instead...
