Old Video of Rakul Preet Surfaces Where She Talks About 'Not Hyping Drug Case'

Ever since names like Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, Mukesh Chhabra and Simone Khambatta have been popped up in the on-going drug case apparently given by actor Rhea Chakraborty, needless to say, things have blown out of proportion. From social media outrage to multiple debates, everybody is talking about it and it continues to gain more mileage than ever.

These four names are a part of a 15 name list provided by Chakraborty. Apart from this, an old video of Rakul's has been surfacing on the internet and doing the rounds.

The video is of hers from an interview with TV9 where she has talked about 'how the talks about drugs need to be flushed out of the system.' This video dates back to 2017 where she was quizzed about drugs and the connection with film industry being used as attention-grabbing angles for headlines. To this, she shared her viewes as she said that nobody will obviously support drugs and that the investigation into such drug probes should be treated as another probe.

She further said that there  isn’t a need to make headlines about the drug probe and mentioned that people need to learn something out of it. Later, Rakul added that it was necessary and much needed to get drugs flushed out of the system. Some people also marked upon how she was appointed the ambassabor for Telangana's 'No To Drugs' campaign-
