Official Statement: Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal Postpone Wedding over COVID-19

The worldwide Coronavirus pandemic has brought everything, right from business to entertainment to a standstill. 

The COVID-19 has also caused major effect on celebrity weddings that were supposed to take place this summer. Yesterday we reported that Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal's wedding's may have to wait owing to the current scenario.

And today comes an official statement. Richa and Ali have postponed their summer wedding due to the Coronavirus outburst. 

“Given the current scenario and the unfortunate turn of events owing to the COVID-19 pandemic globally, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have decided to postpone their wedding functions to the latter half of 2020 tentatively. They wish for everyone to be healthy and safe and at no cost would want their friends, families and well wishers to be affected,” read an official statement from their spokesperson.

Reportedly, their wedding was expected to take place in Delhi and was supposed to have many of their overseas friends, but now the plan will have to wait.
