Nikki Tamboli condemns the brutal killing of society dog, demands justice

Nikki Tamboli took to her Instagram story to express her outrage and grief over the tragic death of a society dog named Jay, who was brutally beaten to death by Jayesh Ramlal Desai, a suspected resident of their society. 

In her heartfelt message, Tamboli described Jay as a beloved member of their community whose wagging tail and playful nature brought joy to everyone he encountered. As an avid animal lover and pet owner herself, Tamboli expressed deep sorrow and shock at the unimaginable cruelty inflicted upon Jay. 

She denounced the heinous act as a stark reminder of the injustices animals often face and called for #JusticeforJay. She wrote on her Instagram story, “Outrage and Grief Alert #Justicefor Jay

Jay roamed our society's streets, his wagging tail and playful demeanour bringing joy to all who crossed his path. As an avid animal lover, I cherished every interaction with him.

Having pet at my own home this incident has shattered me. The unimaginable cruelty inflicted upon Jay serves as a chilling reminder of the injustices animals endure.

The suspected accused a probable resident of our society Jayesh Ramlal Desai has beaten this poor soul to death and now roams free on bail.

This reprehensible act of cruelty is an affront to our humanity and decency. It is unfathomable that an educated individual could stoop to such depths of depravity. To witness such a descent into darkness is to confront the existence of an absolute demon among us.

The question lingers heavily HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO CALLOUSLY SNUFFED OUT A LIFE AN INNOCENT BEINGS LIFE NOT BE BEHIND BARS?

We demand justice for Jay. We will not rest until the perpetrator is held accountable for their despicable actions. Let us stand together in solidarity and send a clear message: cruelty towards animals will not be tolerated in our community”. 

Tamboli also criticized the legal system for granting bail to the accused, emphasizing the need for stricter punishment for acts of animal cruelty. She concluded her message by condemning such acts of barbarity and urging society to confront and condemn such darkness in humanity.
