Netflix is Bringing Another Original Series, Unorthodox Ft. Shira Haas!

Netflix is coming up with a lot of original series like Sex Education, 13 Reasons Why, Stranger Things, YOU and all these series seemed to have hit the right chord among the audience. After the success of its many originals, Netflix is bringing another original, Unorthodox.

The series will star Shira Haas, Jeff Wilbusch, Amit Rahav and will be directed by actor-filmmaker Maria Schrader. The story of the series is inspired by Deborah Feldman’s bestselling memoir of a young Jewish woman who escapes from a religious sect. Made in Yiddish and English-language, this four-part mini-series will show Haas as a young woman who follows her heart.

Haas will be a woman of mettle who's unafraid to take a stand and reclaim her rightful place in an orthodox society. The production process and shooting for the series has already started in Berlin. The series is produced by Anna Winger’s Studio Airlift.
