Neelu Dogra bags Zee TV show Bhagyalaxmi

Zee TV's upcoming show Bhagyalaxmi has been quite an anticipated show. The project will be produced by Balaji Telefilms. According to reports, the concept of the show will revolve around a simple and loving girl getting married to a millionaire, who doesn’t believe in fate. She will be heartbroken to know that their union is only treachery by their families. 

While there were reports about actress Tunisha Sharma being considered for the female lead, India Forums broke the news about actors Rohit Suchanti and Aishwarya Khare being roped in to play the leads in the show. We also reported that actors Masshe Uddin Qureshi and Shivani Jha have been roped in for the show.

Reports have it that actors Kiran Sharad and Virendra Sexana will also be a part of the project and will play pivotal roles in the show.  Now, we have an update about another actress joining the cast of the show. Reliable sources tell us that actress Neelu Dogra has bagged the show and will play the character of one of the lead’s mother.

Apart from being an actress, Neelu has also directed Theatre plays. She is known for her stint in projects like The Glitch, Flames Season 2 among others. We couldn’t connect with the actress for comment.

The promo of Bhagyalaxmi was recently released. The promo had Preeta (Shraddha Arya) introducing Laxmi played by Aishwarya Khare. Laxmi is seen as an extremely simple, grounded, and big-hearted young girl.
