Nawazuddin Siddiqui receives Excellence in Cinema Award in Dubai

At the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui received the Excellence in Cinema Award. 

Nawazuddin has made a name for himself in films such as Talaash, Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur, Mom, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dekh Indian Circus, The Lunchbox, Photograph, and Manto. 

According to Nawazuddin: "For an artist, there is no bigger reward than the audience giving you their love and appreciation for your work and I am glad to see people here in Dubai giving me so much love. To receive an award among such a vibrant audience here in Dubai is heartwarming to say the least."

He is the only Indian actor nominated for an Emmy this year in the category of 'best performance by an actor,' alongside Christian Tappan of 'The Great Heist,' David Tennant of 'Des,' and Roy Nik of 'Normali.' 

This year, the Indian actor has worked on four films: 'Heropanti 2,' 'Jogira Sara Ra Ra,' 'Adbhut,' and 'Sangeen.' 

His international feature film, 'No Land's Man,' has already begun its festival run. 

In the near future, Nawazuddin will begin filming for Kangana Ranaut's production 'Tiku Weds Sheru' in November.
