My biggest phobia is losing at an early stage - Ashish Chowdhry

Handsome actor Ashish Chowdhry who was last seen as Raghav in the  popular show Ek Mutthi Aasman on Zee TV is back on TV after a small break. This dashing actor will soon be seen as one of the contestants who will fight with his fear in Colors' popular stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns.

We got in touch with Ashish to know about his strategies, biggest fear and more in conversation with us...

How much excited you are to participate in this daredevil show?

I am super excited as finally I am doing something which I have never done before. Its been a while I was thinking of doing something different and adventurous and have signed this show.

Khatron Ke Khiladi is a show which kept me away as I was little bit scared doing this because I had the fear that I might lose or not prepared for such a sporty show or dancing etc. so I thought that I should concentrate on my acting.

I had these reservations in my mind but as of now, I have overcome that fear and now I will overcome any other fear which will come my way in fear factor and will enjoy the show.

When we talk about Khatron Ke Khiladi, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?

The first thing which come in my mind when we talk about this show is creepy, crawly, lizards cockroaches, bugs etc. and these are the things I think we relate with fear factor. Other than that I think this show is lot more fun than the other reality shows. In other reality shows either there are lots of tearing apart of personalities or competitiveness which goes to a level involving one particular talent like dance or singing and you many not be the best at it. But this is a show where you get a chance to do a variety of things and its all to do with adventure and sports. I feel this is the best thing I could choose when I wanted to try my hands into reality.

As you know the knack of performing stunts, so will it be an advantage for you?

You know in the film we perform stunts using a harness and there are many retakes, so those stunts are very different. Here in the show also there are safety measures up to some level and there is much to be scared off. My biggest fear was dancing and so I am doing this show reality show (laugh). In this show you feel that I will enjoy stunts, I had broken my leg during the film Qayamat. I have broken my ribs in the film Fight club, so I am injury prone and now let's seen what happens in this show. If nothing happens then hats off to the production house and the channel.

What is your biggest phobia?

My biggest phobia is losing at an early stage. I don't want to lose and come back early because that is little bit embarrassing.

Out of all the contestant, who is the toughest one according to you?

I have heard that Nathalia Kaur is a bodybuilder, so she can be a tough contestant and about Sagarika Ghatge also I have heard that the she is quite aggressive and is a tough competitor. Everybody has planned strategies and have come with some motive in the show. My god Ladkiya aaj chahiye toh ladko ko kisi bhi chiz mai piche chod sakti hai and this season we have almost girls, so haarne ke chances jyada hai.

What do you have say about your host Rohit Shetty?

I think Rohit Shetty presents himself perfectly. He is a stud looking director and that is the reason why he has been chosen to host this show.
