The promos of &TV's upcoming show Waaris (produced by Vini Yardi and Endemol) has just hit the screens.
The show has roped in the talented beauty Aarti Singh as the female protagonist and handsome hunk Iqbal Khan opposite her. We hear that as the story progresses further, Iqbal Khan's character will die and the makers have roped in another lead who will fill that space after Iqbal Khan.
Our source informs us, "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? fame Akshay Dogra has been roped in to play Iqbal Khan's younger brother on the show and he will the main lead after Iqbal's character will come to an end on the show. Akshay's character will be a grey shaded one. Veteran and popular actor Mukesh Khanna will be seen as father of Iqbal and Akshay on the show."
When we contacted Mukesh Khanna, he confirmed being part of the show. Akshay Dogra remained unavailable for comments.

Good luck to Akshay Dogra. I guess Iqbal Khan's role is a cameo? He's a fine actor and would have loved to watch him long term. I may check this show out, as it has several actors I like. Let's see. Hope it's not some typical girl falls for brother in law story. Please come up with something more interesting. But good luck to all involved!
