Mrunal Thakur reveals having suicidal thoughts in college and wanting to jump off a train

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur recently opened up about her adolescent struggles and how she overcame suicidal thoughts in college.

Mrunal revealed to a news portal that she would travel by local train during her college years. The actress recalled standing at the door and occasionally wishing she could jump out.

The interview was quite intense and raw, and Mrunal revealed a lot about her in it.

Mrunal spilled some beans about her journey, saying that her parents wanted her to be a dentist, but she persuaded them to let her pursue a degree in Mass Communication instead. Mrunal, on the other hand, stated that she felt lost when the course did not meet her expectations. 

The Toofan actress also admitted that living in Mumbai added to her difficulties, but she was confident in her abilities.

Further elaborating, the actress stated that she used to believe she would be nowhere if she did not perform well. The Dhamaka actress believed that if she married at the age of 23, she would have children, which she did not want. The actress went on to say that in order to try something new, she would hold auditions.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Mrunal is currently awaiting the release of her film, ‘Jersey’ with Shahid Kapoor. The film is an official Hindi adaptation of the Telugu film of the same name. It was slated to hit the theatres in December last year. However, it was pushed ahead owing to the pandemic.
