Movie Review: Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna - An intense love story

Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna revolves around Dhruv a wannabe writer who is madly in love with Ananya Tripathi a well-known novelist and how his obsession leads to series of conflicts between the characters. And performance of each and every character is the main strength of the film.

Karanvir Bohra who plays Dhruv has put in good efforts as he's the one who grabs your attention in the whole film. Ranvir Dhillon played by Samir Kochhar has less screen time but he nails the role perfectly. Ananya Tripathi's character remains quite undefined but Priya makes it up with her performance.

The film could’ve been a nail-biting thriller if the writers had put in more efforts. The first half goes in a decent way further evolving Dhruv’s character to more of a psychotic one which is a good aspect of the film.

Set in Himachal Pradesh, the beauty of this place has been explored very well by the makers which is a treat to watch. Songs are an important aspect of this romantic thriller as it defines every situation properly.

The cons of Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna includes the lack of detailing about the characters, poor screenplay and weak direction and cinematography. But strong acting performances by Karanvir and Samir keeps the audience glued to their seats.

Overall, this romantic thriller is good for a one time watch.
