Bilass Pardesi better known as Billo (Irrfan Khan) is a village barber who refuses to adapt today's hair fashion trends. Due to his stubbornness, his business starts to head down the drain which affects his wife (Lara Dutta) and two kids.

Then one day, a famous superstar comes to Billo's village to shoot for his next movie. This superstar is non-other than Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) who was Billo's childhood friend. The villagers eventually find out the relationship between Billo and Sahir Khan. Upon hearing this, the villagers start to give Billo a lot of respect that he craved for inside his heart.

All the villagers encourage Billo to meet with the superstar and introduce the villagers to him. However, Billo is uncertain if Sahir will actually recognize him after all these years. Billo tries to meet the superstar many times but fails each time. The villagers begin to think that Billo lied about his friendship with Sahir Khan and start insulting him. All of a sudden, Billo's life turns up side down.

A couple of days later, Sahir is invited to a school function that Billo attends as well. At this function, Sahir reveals about his childhood friend to the audience.

Will Billo and Sahir meet at the function? Will Billo and his family have to live in disgrace their whole life?

Billo Barber is set to hit theatres on February 13^th, 2009.
