Marvel Studio confirms to be in talks with Keanu Reeves to join MCU phase 4!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken over the fans by a storm. While the fans can’t get over Avengers: Endgame, everyone is looking forward to watching the friendly neighborhood superhero, Spiderman releasing on big-screens. With that being said, Spider-Man: Far From Home is only a couple of weeks away from hitting theaters, which means the big names in Marvel are currently making the press rounds for the upcoming film.

During a recent media interaction Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios - he spoke at great length about Avengers: Endgame’s new footage being released in theaters. Apart from that, during his interaction with comicbook.com, The President was asked about the future involvement of some big names in the MCU, including the Global Crush: Keanu Reeves.

“We talk to him for almost every film we make,” Feige laughed. “We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”

Feige went on to compare Reeves to Jake Gyllenhaal, saying that they talked to the Spider-Man: Far From Home star ‘multiple times’ until the perfect role (Mysterio) appeared. They’re hoping a similar situation will occur with Revees, and that he will join the wide world of Marvel when the right role presents itself.

However, during a recent media interaction, Keanu had shared his interests for the character of Wolverine. If Marvel Studios is looking for some ideas, we guess Keanu could be an apt choice for the character of Wolverine? After all, the actor recently confessed he would love to play the X-Men character.

He said, "I don't know when I was a kid, I always wanted to play Wolverine, so Wolverine," the actor said in a recent interview. With the franchise now under the Marvel Studios banner, it could happen.
