Manasi Parekh Speaks About The Success Of Her Debut Film Uri!

Actress and singer Manasi Parekh Gohil has recently made her Bollywood debut with the super hit film Uri.  

The actress who has been the face in hundreds of ads was last seen on television in Sumit Sambhal Lega after which she took a maternity break.  Her videos with her daughters are a viral trend and the actress seems to be back to work in no time.  And what better than to make your Bollywood debut after a maternity break.  

Speaking about the film Manasi reveals, "I decided to do Uri because it seemed to be a very strong role.  Also since I haven't done Bollywood films before this, I thought this would be a great start.  My co-actors including Vicky, Yami, Mohit as well as the director who was very clear about what he wanted and the storyline on the surgical strikes made the film a brilliant package and all these factors combined made me take up Uri.  My character Neha is an army officer wife and she's full of life and very energetic.  She's the glue that binds the whole family together.  Through the character of Neha, I was portraying a mother, a wife, a sister, and a daughter and I was portraying various shades through one character."
