Major drama to unfold with a NEW entry in 'Jamai Raja'..!

An actress makes her comeback after a period of one year..

The current track of 'Jamai Raja' is gradually building up some major drama, where it is all set to highlight the backstory of Neil (Indraneil Sengupta) to Ragini (Nia Sharma).

While Siddharth (Ravi Dubey) still struggles with his feelings, a new entry in the show will showcase some major revelations and twists in the plot. The entry of Rhea (Sonal Minocha) added quite some drama a while ago and the show is now all set to welcome another character.

Rhea's elder sister, Payal, will be making her entry into the lives of Neil and Rhea where there is a special story of hers and Neil back in time.

The character of Payal will be portrayed by none other than actress Mouli Ganguly, who is famously known for her roles in 'Kahin Kissi Roz' and 'Kya Huaa Tera Vaada' to name some.

Payal will be an astute person who likes things to be done her way and would get irksome if not. Loving the high end of life, Payal in her past times had feelings for Neil; but got out of the way when she realised that he loved her younger sister, Rhea.

We contacted Mouli and asked her about what prompted her to take up this role, to which she said, "It felt like a powerful role and something I haven't done before. So, after trying out some distinctive roles, this one seemed apt for me, so I took it."

She added, "It isn't a cameo, where the role would be there throughout the show."

Her last outing was a role in the mythological show, 'Suryaputra Karn.' Asking her about the change of mood in the roles, she said, "That's the beauty of it! I don't like doing monotonous and boring work. So, these distinguished roles are a great opportunity and so much fun."
