Talented actor Mahima Makhwana who is seen in Sony Entertainment Television's Dil Ki Baatein is surely starting a new style trend.

The pretty girl who plays the role of Disha, Ram and Gurdeep's on-screen daughter, is seen in a completely new look as opposed to her previous outing. From sporting a short bob to fun and stylish clothes, the actor is majorly experimenting with her look. But what has caught everyone's fancy is her unique shoe style. Mahima's character Disha is seen sporting two different colored shoes which gives her character a funky edge.

Speaking about this Mahima says, "It was a conscious decision to give a completely different look as I wanted to be seen in a new avatar, something in contrast to my previous characters. When they told me I will have to wear two different shoes in each foot, I was initially apprehensive as I thought it will look funny but now I really love it. So much so that I sometimes follow the trend in real life as well. I wear two different colored shoes while going out shopping or meeting my friends. The show stylist has to buy all shoes in two different colors so that we can mix and match them."

Come of it guys..Living in US and going back to India I see that the girls and guys are more advanced in the way they dress and talk, way more "westernized" than us actual western folks..so believe it or not foul language has become a part of the indian youth culture..Many of us indians over here however like myself..despise such language..but to each its own..I like the movie though ..it showed culture how it really is among the youth

completely agree with akanksha82, the only fact that it was an AK movie drew me to the theatre but was a huge disappointment, too much to digest, completely lacked respect

I don't get it!! Why do Indian film industry always try to imitate Hollywood? Why are Indians so inferior to the Western culture? All the time, it's 'Hollywood do" or "Hollywood do that". Talk about us first!! Be proud of ourselves, our culture, our tradition and our identity. I'm not saying that we shouldn't be open-minded but don't related modern-minds to Western culture. Acting like a Westerner doesn't mean you are modern..
