Lost Boy Productions' Rani Mahal gets delayed!

The upcoming venture of Vikas Gupta is on a hold! Read on to know why...

Sony TV's upcoming show 'Rani Mahal' which was believed to be on the lines of American fantasy drama series 'Games of Thrones' has been put on hold. The show also had a pilot shoot done and was about to hit the screens with some top actors being part of it, but got delayed.

Popular actors like Saakshi Tanwar, Ankita Lokhande, Anita Hassanandani, Reena Roy, Yuvraj Thakur, Bani J and many others were supposed to play crucial roles in the show but with it going on hold, all the names are now dubious for the show.

Our credible source informs, "The reason behind Rani Mahal getting delayed is Vikas Gupta (Lost Boy Productions), who has now become the head of channel & TV. Being 'Rani Mahal' mammoth, the show can't be done without Vikas Gupta being part of Lost Boy, so once he finishes his assignment with the channel & TV, he will roll out the show with his Production team on television."

We tried contacting Vikas Gupta, but he remained unavailable.

Well, we just hope that this delay doesn't result into any kind of alterations in the ace star cast of the show...

I am no fan of GOT, I prefer English shows with urban set ups however, I have to agree with angel_juhi .. I give a damn about sex scenes or nudity if the content is good .. in case of GOT sometimes I feel some scenes were not necessary, but I have to appreciate its women .. good, bad, or evil, they are strong, adventurous, and ambitious. People who love those Indian shows where women are meant to bear all the pain, sacrifice her happiness, and never stand for herself, will never be able to accept such characters. Indian TV depicts only 2 shades of women - good & bad .. there is no grey zone for them.

GOT reflects a pagan world so, definitely their culture won't be a "sanskari" one lol .. If someday Indian TV becomes bold enough to make an authentic show on Indus valley civilization where women were allowed to simply break up with the live-in mate (yes live in) and choose another partner as per their wish, how these so called sanskari viewers will react?? the show is stooping so low, ruining our culture?? LOL .. they are simply showing the base of our culture -- that's it.

Wats wrong wid everyone saying dat its po*n n nudity? I have not watched GOT so I can't say wats in dat show. But wateva it is I am sure its much better than saas-bahu soaps where there r fake marriages, fake SR, kaala jaadu, disgusting dialogues now n then by vamps in an orgasmic voice, forcing women into marrying anyone, torturing of heroines by d hero, manhandling to d extent of bruising d arms of d women, slapping, insulting n so on. So, before talking bad western shows we sud luk at our own Indian shows. GOT may have many bad scenes including objectification of women or misogyny but we sud not forget dat d show is set in ancient times or may be medieval times. While our saas-bahu soaps shows more worse things in modern times. So, dats d difference.

Anyways, I can't trust Lost Boys shows as even though u will feel like u have not seen a good show like their shows but they have d most worse n disappointing ending. Those who watched Fanaah, Warrior High n Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan will know wat I mean.

GOThas oodles of nudity and sex combined with a wicked story line.. Which is why it's successful

I doubt this show would fly without all the adult scenes
